Welcome to the TOTAL TVC website and specifically to the office of the Dean of Students. The Institute offers diverse academic programmes in the fields of Engineering (Electrical, Building, Civil, Architecture, Mechanical, Automotive), Business (Secretarial, Accounting, Management, Entrepreneurship), ICT, and Food and Beverage.
There are vibrant co-curricular activities undertaken in the Institute and these include sports and games that range from athletics, ball games, in-door games, drama and music. Students also get chances to participate in recognized professional clubs and societies that encompass religious, tae kwondo, wildlife, scouts and Red Cross, among others.
The office of the Dean of Students co-ordinates students' welfare, co-curricular activities, orientation and induction of new students, liaison with partners (parents, guardians and sponsors), and guidance and counselling services. These activities are designed to enhance success in the students' academic as well as personal development.
Services at a glance: accommodation and catering; maintaining proper order and decorum (student discipline, harmony and cohesion); health services and referrals; students' governance; and students' welfare and social concerns.
We advise students from a low economic background, students from ASAL areas and high-disease-burden areas to seek loans and bursaries from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Constituency Development Funds and County Governments.
